Will I be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty?
Many of the vehicles we sell are still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Regardless of what any car dealer tells you, this is the best situation for you when purchasing a used car. This is because a vehicle under manufacturer warranty is likely to have the best cover when it comes to any future issues. All our car listings should state if the vehicle is under manufacturer’s warranty. If there is any confusion, please get in contact with us.
Do Drive Green offer their own warranty?
Any vehicle sold by us out of manufacturer’s warranty will come with our own three-month parts and performance warranty. This covers any issues that cause the vehicle to operate in a way that is considered unsafe or unroadworthy. This also covers issues arising from the motor and drivetrain components that have not occurred through wear and tear. Our warranty does not affect your statutory rights. Contact us if you would like to find out more information about our warranty.
The only items not covered by the comprehensive Drive Green Approved Used Car Warranty are: Brake facings, discs and drums, bulbs and fuses, channels and guides, weather strips and seals, handles, hinges and check straps, trim, upholstery and cosmetic finishes, wheels and tyres, wiper blades and arms, glass, auxiliary drive belts, coolant and hoses, the cleaning and adjustment of any component and all service items or items that will require periodic replacement. This Drive Green Approved Used Car warranty does not cover corrosion. The warranty does not cover battery degradation considered appropriate for age or use.
What is the maximum value of warranty claims per used vehicle?
The most we will pay under this warranty is the purchase price of the vehicle.
